Chitter Chatter

I took part in an 'international' chat in the chat room at DST tonight. I'm not usually fond of chat rooms - if there are lots of people there I find it incredibly difficult to keep up with who is saying what, and to whom, but tonight was fun. MamaKimberly was our host, and she has challenged us all to do a layout with a fabulous template that she got us to download. There are things that I should have been doing here at home instead of fart-arsing about on the net and in chat rooms, but hey - I worked hard today and I deserved the break.

So, here's what I came up with for the sketch challenge. This is version no 3 - my previous two versions both star Ethan, but I couldn't seem to get it right, so I have saved them to play with another day, and did this one instead.

I think the journaling says it all, really. Much as I do love my Colin, he has a tendency to be hell to live with - he's so moody that he even makes me look a Cheerful Charlie all the time (and if you know me personally, then you'll know that one of my alter-egos is 'Queen Bitch').

Layout credits: patterned paper - Blue Wallpaper kit from ScrapGirls
Date stamp (recoloured) - Peppermint Creative
Fonts - Arial and Black Boys On Mopeds

Changing the subject slightly, Colin promised to give me his credit card tonight so that I can order my superlicious Wacom graphics tablet ... but surprise, surprise, no credit card has been forthcoming. I'm not a patient person by any stretch of the imagination, so if he doesn't hand over the plastic first thing tomorrow then I will slip into Queen Bitch mode, cos I am desperate to get my hands on a Wacom.

On that note, I think I shall take myself upstairs and see if he's still awake ... I shall charm him into giving me the credit card (by which you can understand that I am going to harangue him until he does what I want!)
