I Came, I Saw, I Shopped ...

But I think I was very restrained! On Thursday night I had a browse through all of the lovely goodies that Meredith Fenwick had on sale at SBB, and managed to fill my cart with $80 worth of scrumpalicious stash. I went back to it yesterday and deleted most of it ... much as I'd have loved to have bought it all, there have been a few comments about all my recent Paypal transactions from Colin recently, and so I didn't want to push my luck, particularly as we are skint! I managed to get away with spending less than $25, for which I got Meredith's gorgeous Personality Collection - a real bargain at $16ish - it contains 9 whole kits in the most gorgeous colours and patterns imaginable - very reminiscent of some of the Basic Grey papers. So, (because I'm anal and like to work things out like this) I've got 54 sheets of paper, 9 new alphabets and a ton of nifty embellishments. I also treated myself to her Antique Letter Stamps - which are like postmarks; and her Licence Plate set - I'm really looking forward to playing with those.

I have been industriously creative today and managed a layout with the Sunny paper and element packs from the Personality Collection.

This gorgeous little man is my lovely nephew, Cianan. He has a smile that would melt the hardest of hearts, bless him. I'm really really pleased with how this has turned out - and I particularly like my assortment of fonts (I had a font downloading spree this morning). So, next project on the agenda is finding a photo to use with one of the other kits in the collection.

As well as being digitally creative, I have been forced to get off my bum and do some housework. We had a load of big stuff on Ebay, and someone contacted us today wanting to come and get it - so I have scrubbed my bathroom to within an inch of its life (and believe me, it really needed it - I have been putting off doing a major clean up in there for several months ...) and mucked out our hall, which was full of junk relating to Colin's work; my navigator, boxes of stash and assorted other paraphernalia. Anyway, the upshot is that we have sold some stuff that we were desperate to get rid of, and I got some house stuff done that I had been trying to get motivated to do.
