Boing!
There you go, that was the sound of me bouncing back. I feel much better now. Thank you so much to everyone for their kind words.
So, on to today ...
This is the scrummy May mega-kit from my beloved DSS - it's just a mere $5.98 for a limited time only, and it's stuffed full of the most delicious papers and embellishments. Surf on over to The Shak and check it out!So today is National Scrapbooking Day across the globe, and what a day I'm having! I set my alarm for 6.00 am because Kelly Ann (Kiki Scraps) was hosting a chat over at 3Scrapateers. It was a very hectic chat, but I can't complain cos I won a prize - ACDSee Photo Manager 9 (at least that's what I think it is - it was very early in the morning after all and I was still sleepy).
I estimated that I'd lost between 40 and 50 kits, and so I spent last night redownloading lots and lots of my lost kits after the stores I bought them from very kindly reset the links for me. Today has been no exception - but I must give extra special thanks to Manuela Zimmerman (Digital Scrap Spirit), who not only reset my links but gave me her newest kit, Through The Years as well, for free! That was so generous of her, and totally unexpected. I love her designs!
So with all the NDS sales on, naturally I've been on a shopping spree. I started off at Digital Scrap Spirit, where I treated myself to the paper pack from Manu's Lacy Memories kit, all four of Chantal's Boxed Words sets, Verena's Cardboard Pieces, plus her Retro Quickpage. I also downloaded the fabulous free kit they have on their front page - you need to check it out cos it's incredibly gorgeous ...
Then I headed off to NDISB for a bit more shopping therapy ... and discovered that they've got some fantabulous freebies in their shop (I picked up TaniaJPS' Angry freebie, Karin M's Art Journey Collection ATC Sampler and Paper Bag Corner Sample), and splashed out on Karin M's Fortune Cookie (looking foward to seeing what's inside when I get round to unzipping it), Fortune Cookie Swirl Template, and Art Journey Collection Overlays; and the Squared Up Alpha and Brush Set by Tammy Bankston.
Then on to Kathryn Balint's fabulous site where I picked up her Cameron's Choo Choo kit for the ridiculous price of $1!!!!
Lastly, off to SweetShoppeDesigns for a humungous scrummy trip round their shelves, where I got Digital Artist Magazine (March issue), Christy Lyle's One Funky Alphabet, Cardboard Alpha II: Painted Black, and her Black Bluesberry kit (saw it, had to have it!); Mandabean's And I Quote ... Happiness and And I Quote ... Dreams sets; Fee Jardine's Doodlebet Alpha and Boxy Alpha; and cos I spent over $10 I got the SSD free Scrumdidliumptious kit (and boy, is it!)
All in all, a veritable feast of scrappy shopping, wouldn't you agree?
That's 2.5 Gb that I've downloaded over the last couple of days, just in zip files. Ooh, just think of all the layouts I can do with that little lot!
Right, time for me to mosey back off to DSS and join back in with the chat that is ongoing there today ... why not come over and join us?! You never know what you might win ...
