... Get a Hat!

This was a nice quick and easy knit in Sublime Cashmere Merino Silk DK - I just used one ball, so it was nice and cheap too. I finished this just after midnight, and I have worn it today, when I went to work, and then shopping. It's a little bit big but that's not a problem, it's not going to make my hair stick to my head. I don't know that it suits me though, but what the hell.

Been to John Lewis' today and got some yarn to knit a hat for Ethan - I just need to find some short circular needles to do it with; and I got something to knit myself another hat with - just confusing the hell out of myself trying to work out which size needles I need to use to get near gauge (it's too complicated for my little brain ...). Hopefully I'll get somewhere with it tonight, but we shall see.

In the meantime, I'm wearing the hat as I type this - we don't have a radiator in the living room anymore since we removed it when we decorated earlier this year (because it would have been behind the couch, which would be pointless), and it's bloody cold in here!
