Big Bump
Well I suppose it was inevitable that after the fun and fabulous two days I had that something would happen to spoil everything, and of course it did. Colin has been an utter git today and we have had a row of monumental proportions. Silly me to believe that my entire birthday weekend could be all fun and laughter. Obviously he won't be happy until I have given up all my CT commitments, stopped scrapping altogether and given up all my friends. I'm so tired of all this. I have had chapter and verse over daring to go out with my friends and not invite him too. This is despite wanting to celebrate my birthday with my friends the day before; and celebrating with him and the kids yesterday on the actual day. Apparently I should have invited him - what, and left the kids at home on their own all night? It aint gonna happen! Why doesn't he understand that I need to have time to just be Kate instead of always being Mum/partner; and that when I have my Kate time I like to be with my friends.
Anyway, all blown over now.
To cheer myself up I've been surfing Ebay, and I've got my eye on a Radley laptop bag. It's really very scrappy orientated - it's black with a yellow flower doodle pattern, and I have to have it! I'm also watching some lip serum that is supposed to make your lips appear fuller, and some mascara that is supposed to really give your lashes some va-va-voom.
And to cheer myself up further, here are some more pictures from my birthday. This first one is of Neil and Ioannis, or as I like to call them Dopey 1 and Dopey 2 (of course they're dopey, they're men! They can't help it!)I wish I could remember at which point in the proceedings I took this picture at, but I was a bit sloshed as I recall, and it all seems to be a bit of a blur. Though I do remember that we (as in me and Jacq) were doing a spot of Dopey-baiting. Actually she did more Dopey-baiting than I did, I just sat and laughed.
This next one is of me and Ioannis. I'm actually very impressed that he came out on Friday night at all, considering he had to catch a coach to Heathrow at 4.00 am the next morning. I'd like to think that he felt he couldn't miss my birthday bash because I am such a wonderful and lovely person who he is extremely blessed to be friends with, but in reality it's probably because he knows I would have given him hell if he didn't. As it goes, I wouldn't have given him hell.
And then finally, this is me and my little bubbies at Jacqui's house last night. Right, I have work to do, so I'd better get on with it before I get shouted at again!
