Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder??
I can't believe it's the best part of six weeks since I blogged. Did ya miss me? Thought not!
So much going on, the days are racing past and we're heading right for summer (I hope).
So, you remember I started knitting some socks for Ethan? Here are the finished pair, which I finally finished on Saturday - yeah, it took me a bit longer than I had hoped, due to me losing interest halfway through, but now that they are finished I'm feeling quite eager to get on with my next project - I have several that I would quite like to have a go at, so we shall have to see which one I end up doing first.
The lounge still isn't finished, unfortunately. Colin has had a really bad attack of gout in his knee recently, and he can't get down on his knees so we've not made any progress there. I am seriously considering paying someone to do it now, as I am sick of having an unfinished room and want to get it all done and dusted.
What else? Work? Busy, busy, busy and depressing, quite honestly. At least this week it is quiet as loads of our doctors are away in the USA at a big conference, so I'm hoping to get caught up on a lot of things.
Home - Colin is away for a few days in Liverpool on a big project. As Liverpool isn't that far from his home town of Southport, he's apparently meeting up with his Mum, brother and sister for dinner one night, which will be nice for him. He's not usually a great one for spending time with his family! Other than that, world war 3 rages on here, as Sean has turned from my lovely teenager into the teenager from hell (I have NO idea where he gets it from - NOT!) and is driving me mad, but still, at least my boys are healthy and happy(ish).
That's about it for me today I think, I don't want to bore you all to tears.
