Mwah hahahahahahhaah, I am allowed to talk like a Cockney sparra me old china, cos I am from the East End of London, innit!

Now, I'm sure most normal Mummys did washing and ironing and cooked for their kiddywinkles today. I didn't! I sorted out loads of clothes and put some in one of our suitcases ready for our next trip away (they're not needed before then). I braved the madness that is Asda (I hate that shop with a passion) to get some new jeans for Ethan and something for dinner (didn't fancy any of their meat - their chickens looked suspiciously nasty and skinny) ... and that was about it really. I sat and knitted and made this little wonder, called Urchin, and designed by Ysolda Teague. I absolutely love Ysolda's designs, and I'm rather taken with this fetching number (I love it so much more than my lace edged hat that I finished on Friday - apart from anything else it is so much more flattering on me). I can't wait to wear it to work tomorrow and get lots of compliments (which is more likely if I sit at my desk wearing it all day ...)

Now, I know I should have been an industrious Mummy and done lots of Mummy-type things, but oh how relaxed I feel having knitted half the day away (and it honestly didn't take that long). Will I make another one? Oh yes indeedy, I fink da next one will be inky pinky pink. Mwah hahahahahahhahahaha.
