Now I can tell that you're thinking that this is going to be a post about something funny that one of the kids said? Wrong! These little gems came tripping forth from the mouth of my Dad ...

Sunday morning. I am in Mum's little office, backing up all her documents to a memory stick. Dad comes in and wants to know why Mum hasn't put his bet on (he is still after hundreds of years convinced that he will win a fortune on the horses). Mum says 'I'll do it in a minute, Kate's just doing a backup'.

'Backup?' he says 'Backup, my arse!'

Well Mum just looked at me and I looked at her and we fell about laughing. So after this has been told and retold ALL day long (it was funny!), it got to late evening and we're getting ready to come back home (we've been down in London all weekend). Some advert or other was on, and at the end they said something about the product being nice and easy. Dad says ...
