Totally In Love!

Yep, I'm totally and utterly head over heels in love with my gorgeous, funny little man. I had a little burst of creativity yesterday and came up with this layout in honour of his starting at school - I used a template from Janet Phillips' Elegant 1 template set as I was totally lacking inspiration - and my pages tend to be one photo jobs anyway. The papers I've used for the photo mats, inking and that really cool decorative element under the pics come from Denise's Celebrating Fall kit. I have to be honest, I don't 'do' seasons pages, if that makes sense, but I love this kit sooo much. I am going to have to bite the bullet and take some autumnal pics so that I can use it some more!
Anyway, back to my page - I used the stamped alpha from Suzy Nunes' Carnaval kit ('school'), and fonts were Limabean, Vaguely Repulsive and Arial Narrow.
Going back to my little Ethan, naturally I'm going to be biased, but he has the most gorgeous cheeky little face, it would be impossible NOT to be in love with him. Plus I love the fact that he has a sturdy little body that is so delicious to cuddle, and a perfectly round little chumpy bum!
It was lovely and quiet here last night without Colin. I had some good news via e-mail about something that I've been worrying about for the last three months, then I had a very bizarre conversation by text with a friend from work, which made me laugh. Had a bit of a cry later on though when I went to bed because, despite good news and giggling, the depression still lurks and I don't need to keep the smiling face in place when I'm on my own.
Hey ho, it's another day today and I shall be off to work in a while after I've collected Eth from school and dropped him off at nursery. I'm thinking I might take my camera in to work tomorrow, because I am desperate to play with Denise's new kits and I want some fresh photos to play with rather than searching through what I already have here - love my kids, but want to scrap some different faces for a change! In particular I want some pictures of Charlie, who is just a few years off retirement age. He won't suit Denise's new kits, but some black and white pics of him would really be awesome with some of Meredith Fenwick's Personality Collection stuff ... speaking of which, I had better get buying some of her Pieces Of Me collection so that I can enter her contest ...
