Mother's Day
So I hope that all the other Mummies out there had a wonderful Mother's Day.
As usual, mine had good bits and bad bits. The good bits were being woken up for big snuggles by my little monkey man, followed by presents: a little Mum-sized iced cake (which I shared with my boys and which was very delish), and a Nintendo DS Lite! Now, I'm not really a games sort of person, but I had asked for one because I'd found myself drawn towards the idea recently. The sort of games that Ethan likes to play on the Wii (things like Lego Batman) confuse the hell out of me and don't interest me at all - I'm more interested in puzzley games, and so I spent a good few hours yesterday playing Professor Layton and the Curious Village - very puzzle orientated. I also bought myself a 'lil puppy in Nintendogs, who I have called George, and I have had fun playing with him.
Ethan was in my room at 6.00 am this morning wanting to know if we were going out for a bike ride, cos he wanted to play on the DS while we were gone. As it was, we decided not to go out today, opting for a lie-in instead. Tomorrow, for sure.
