And The Verdict Is ...

... if you're looking for a good hair removal system, go for the epilator!

Okay, so I plucked (ha!) up the courage to try it. I last shaved my legs and armpits just over a week ago. The hair on my legs was very short and not easy to see ... and the epilator worked fine ... there was a bit of a prickly sensation as the hairs were tugged out, but it honestly wasn't painful at all.

I do wish I could say the same about my armpits! I have discovered today that the hair under your arms actually grows quicker than the hair on your legs, which I suppose would be why mine was about half an inch long (sorry, maybe too much information!). For longer hair you use the highest speed setting. Bloody hell! It hurt! But, I did persevere, and both my legs and armpits are nice and smooth. I am convinced that doing my armpits hurt so much because the hair was so long ... next time I do it it will be when the hair is really short and fingers crossed it won't hurt ...

And now I leave you to get some sleep ... busy day tomorrow, with Colin's Mum coming down to see the kids.
