Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Off To Work We Go ...

Wow, was I feeling productive today or what!

Washing - 10 loads (yes, 10)
Dishwasher - 3 loads
Bedroom - one massive binbag full of junk
Bonus - found a photo that I thought I'd lost, which belonged to my Grandma, of a very old family grave, which Mum has been hassling me about for months and months - very relieved!

Costa - yep, got a huge takeaway cappuccino after going out for binbags and loo roll!
Dinner - got taken to Jimmy Spices in Solihull by Colin - yummy
Pedicure - Colin cut my toenails for me and painted them too - lovely quality time together and I soooo deserve to be pampered!

So all in all, a great day. And I haven't started missing the kids yet ... it's so nice to be sitting on the bed typing this, playing music (Sammy Davis Jr) while I type ... there would be none of that if the kids were here (I wouldn't be allowed to, my boys are bossy).

So now that I've had such a busy day (yes, I know that loading the washing machine and putting washing on the line isn't hard work, but my usual method of doing the housework is to sit on my arse and pay Sean to do chores for me - yes, that's lazy, but he's not old enough by law to get a part-time job for another 14 months, so really why shouldn't I give him the chance to earn money? He's learning how to look after himself, which is always going to be useful - and to be honest, he's always been helpful around the house, he'd probably still do it even if he wasn't getting paid, plus paying him makes me feel better about letting him do it), I am going to go sleep in a minute, and hopefully get up really early and go in to work early and get lots done before the phone starts ringing off the hook.
