I've Still Got It ...

So today I'm at work, looking fabulous as usual (*cough*) - we hosted some very important trainee doctor exams yesterday and today, and today was the day of the clinical exam, so we had loads of patients come in to help (ie to give the doctors some conditions to examine/diagnose etc). So we set up an account with a local taxi firm to bring the patients in, and up to my desk in the outpatients department where I was sited for the morning (I was checking the patients in) comes a patient on the arm of a tall, chunky, young, very good looking Asian taxi driver (the patient is totally blind, hence why he brought her right to the desk) ... he stood there (looking me up and down - naturally, since I am so HOT!) while I checked the patient in, and gave her some drinks vouchers that she could exchange for a hot drink at our tea bar. Then as one of our doctors led the patient off to seat her where she needed to be, Taxi Man grins at me and asked if he got a drinks voucher too. Purely because of his cheek (and cos he was flirty and extremely cute) I gave him one, and then he followed me over to the tea bar to get his cuppa.

Ten minutes later I was back at my desk and I look up to find Taxi Man standing there grinning at me. He hands me a business card with his mobile number on it and says 'oh, er, you know that lady, if she has any problems or anything, here's my direct number'. He points to his name and says 'That's me', grinned again and disappeared.

Now, call me egotistical and supremely overconfident (as well as drop dead gorgeous), but was that just a ploy to give me his number? Me thinketh so. Just goes to show, even as an old hag of 41, I've still got it. Or maybe he really was genuinely concerned about the patient, who knows! I know what I prefer to believe. *snigger*

Oh, and the business card? I chucked it away ...




Yeah, okay, I'm a liar, I didn't chuck it away ... I might need a taxi sometime mwah hahahahhahahahdhhahahahah hahahahah ahhahahaha haha
