Very Sad News

As you will recall, I had a major whinge last week because my colleague Jenny didn't come back to work last week when she was supposed to, as her youngest son had been taken ill.

I am incredibly sorry to say that his condition deteriorated over the weekend, and the decision was made to withdraw his life support. He passed away yesterday afternoon. He was 34 years old. RIP Richard.

Apparently he had signed the organ donor register, and his heart, lungs, kidneys, liver and pancreas have been retrieved for transplantation. So many people will benefit greatly from his death, something which I hope his family will find to be a comfort.

Please keep Jenny and her family in your thoughts. This is an awful thing to happen, more so just days before Christmas.

And yes, I do feel incredibly bad about my rants of last week.
