A Big Day
Today my not-so-little Seanie is 13 ... I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. I would say I am dreading the teenage tantrums that are bound to come now, but he's been having those for a while already (and even his worst tantrum can't compare with one of mine!) We were going to go out for dinner tonight to celebrate, but he's blowing us out in favour of going out with his Nan and Grandad and some of his cousins. Looking at him now, he looks so grown up ... his legs are getting very hairy and he's got a bit of a moustache coming through.
Anyway, another layout:

This is my friend/colleague from work. The diplomatic immunity thing is a joke, since I typed a letter for him ages ago where he had to declare if he 'enjoys diplomatic immunity' (he's from Cyprus). It seems everything he does or doesn't do can be put down to his 'diplomatic immunity' - he's very amusing. I'm really pleased with how this turned out, particularly as I took the photo with my mobile, and it was almost black to start with. I used Michelle Pearson's lighten actions, but that left the picture with a lot of noise. I eventually settled for putting a canvas texture on the picture which sort of dampened down the noise.
Credits for this are: Background papers, note paper, tag on string, rub-on dots, brad and doodle - JenWilson Meaning 2 kit, star - Jen Wilson Meaning 2 kit, frame (recoloured) - Miss Mint's Aqualime Dreams kit, alphabet stamps - White Stamped Alpha by Lyndsay Riches (Diplomatic); Michelle Coleman's Hand Stamped Alpha (Immunity); and fonts were MA Sexy, Adler and Times New Roman.
I hope he likes this - I e-mailled it to him last night but haven't heard yet.
