Gorgeously Glamorous

This vision of glamorousness is my Auntie Dolly - my Dad's sister. I took this pic at my cousin Gavin's wedding in September 2004, in the church before the ceremony.

My Aunt has never been anything but glamorous - she's never been what you'd call conventional when it comes to her dress sense - you wouldn't be likely to catch her acting like a woman in her 70s - she has the knack of being able to carry off clothes that would make a lot of woman her age look like mutton dressed as lamb. Bless her!

She's also delightfully batty (well, in my opinion anyway - and no disrespect intended) - in that respect I am very much like her - and I love her to bits.

Anyway, layout credits: the white background is just a white fill with a craquelure texture; the patterned papers, stitching and brad are from Denise's Glamour kit, I used one of the templates from Janet Phillips' A Little Eclectic pack, and fonts are Larger Mime, MA Sexy and Arial.

I must say I'm really pleased with how this turned out - I must admit I do think I'm rather good at clean and simple ... but I still wish I could do eclectic.
