Happy New Year!

2007 is here ... it's time to leave last year and all it's problems behind us and focus on success, success, success!


We saw the New Year in quietly, all four of us, in front of the TV ... I was digiscrapping, the kids were messing about and Colin was fiddling with his website. I think I'm correct when I say that this is the first New Year we've all seen in together ... last year I saw it in alone cos they'd all gone to bed, and I remember feeling inordinately depressed ... but last night I felt motivated and positive, so that's got to be good!

Here's a layout I made yesterday with Cindy's lovely new kit, called Each New Day. It's going to be one of the prizes for the first challenge of the Amazing Digiscrapping Race, and it's just gorgeous. I've only used a very small proportion of the kit for this page, but hopefully I'll have time later to play some more. The kit is available in Cindy's store at

So, the first day of the New Year and I'm feeling quite motivated to work on some of my resolutions ... in particular the sorting out the house one. My bedroom is a total pigsty at the moment, so I'm planning on spending some time upstairs in a bit, putting clothes away and sorting stuff out ... you know, I'm sure there's carpet in that room somewhere (and I'm NOT joking - it really is that bad!)

So while I go and get cracking (must give in to the urge to be productive as I know it's unlikely to last for long), hope you all enjoyed seeing the New Year in, and hope that we all have a successful and happy New Year.
